LG Revolution Android 2.3 Update on the way

We heard a little chatter regarding the 2.3 Gingerbread update for the 4G LTE packing LG Revolution this week and now the official details have been revealed. If you've been waiting for some Gingerbread treats you are in luck because Verizon is all set to push the OTA to your Revo and have just released the update documents today.

LG Revolution Update Coming Soon, Not Gingerbread but will fix bugs

The LG Revolution is next in line to get an update, sadly this wont be that tasty Gingerbread 2.3 and you're not getting any milk either but it will fix a pile of bugs and add some new features. This will be the first update for the Verizon LTE device, it is 69MB and will bring users to version VS910ZV6.

MetroPCS Lands LG Bryce as Next 4G LTE Phone

MetroPCS is aiming to expand and capitalize on the ever growing demand for 4G in this mobile revolution of ours. And they appear to be adding to their lineup with what is being called the LG Bryce for now. This phone looks to be basically a spin off of the LG Revolution 4G LTE packing phone currently on Verizon. A few small changes are noticeable but otherwise they look the same.

Motorola Droid X2 dual-core boot animation [video]

It looks like one more piece has just been leaked to go along with the many different things we have found for the Motorola Droid X2. First we saw benchmarks showing dual-core and the qHD 960x540 screen you can read all about that here. Now we have a boot animation showing the same DUAL CORE logo as the Motorola Xoom.

LG Revolution pictured again, coming to Verizon as 4G LTE device

The LG Revolution has been quiet since we heard about it at CES, and even did a little Hands-On. Back then everyone was being quiet about what processors all these Verizon phones would have. So that hands on report saying 1 Ghz could very well be wrong, as things change so fast in this crazy mobile industry. It will probably launch with a Tegra 2, we wont know til more details emerge.
