Samsung GALAXY S 4 Review

Samsung's new GALAXY S 4 has some pretty big shoes to fill. Destined to replace the most popular smartphone on the planet and the best selling Android smartphone to date, the Galaxy S III. With more than 50 million sold the GS3 was very popular, and with good reason. Can Samsung's new flagship remain the smartphone King? While it looks very similar, there's tons of differences. Samsung expects to sell nearly 100m of their new smartphone so read on to find out what it's all about.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Review

Samsung has had a place in the mid-size tablet market for a while now, and their newest piece of machinery takes things to a new level. The Galaxy Note 8.0 is the happy medium between the company’s Galaxy Note 10.1 and the 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II, and we first took a look at the new device during Mobile World Congress back in February. It comes with the infamous S Pen, as well as a quad-core processor to keep things humming along nicely. However, the tablet starts at $400, which is a bit expensive compared to other tablets in the same playing field, which makes us wonder what’s so special about this specific slate. Let’s take a peek.

Pebble review: Two weeks with a smartwatch

After what seemed like a wait that took forever, my Pebble smartwatch was finally delivered on April 6. That means I have now been wearing the watch for two weeks time and as such, I have some thoughts to share. I am still wearing my Pebble today, which should say something. I will also risk giving a spoiler in the beginning by saying that I really do like my Pebble. But to balance that a little bit, I am not able to say the Pebble is perfect and honestly I am not even sure how comfortable I would be offering a recommendation at this time.

LG Lucid 2 smartphone review

Verizon Wireless has had the LG Lucid available for some time now. Coming as a follow-up, the carrier has recently released the Lucid 2, which has landed in the mid-range lineup as a budget friendly device. The LG Lucid 2 brings 4G LTE connectivity along with a 4.3-inch display and relatively slim design. Perhaps nicer for some, the handset is available for free on a two-year agreement and has a wide variety of additional accessories. With that being said, we have recently spent some time with the handset and have a bit to say about the device -- so, read on to see if this is one you should consider or simply ignore.

We've had a chance to take Facebook Home for a spin lately and you'll want to read on to see if it's a worthy home screen replacement, or just a gimmick by Facebook to stay relevant.

AT&T HTC One LTE Review

It's finally time to work with the HTC One here in the United States. Here with the AT&T version of the HTC One, we've got 4G LTE connectivity and a device build that's essentially identical to the original international edition of the device. What's changed is the radio inside and the software build - but only ever so slightly. Here you've got the addition of a few AT&T-specific apps so you're running right with big blue - otherwise it's all sweet!

Jabra Revo Wireless headphones review

Up for review today is the new set of Revo headphones from Jabra. Specifically, we have been using a set of the Jabra Revo Wireless headphones that begun shipping earlier in the week. The Revo Wireless headphones come with the promise of a durable design, having been built for comfort and as being able to offer outstanding sound. As far as the comment about sound, that goes to the part about the headphones having Dolby Digital Plus. Otherwise, continue reading the review to see what we thought about the quality and comfort as well as the battery life.

Alien VS Predator: Evolution game review

Fox Digital Entertainment and Angry Mob Games have recently released Alien VS Predator: Evolution and as such, we have spent some time playing. For those thinking the Angry Mob Games name sounds familiar but aren't sure where from -- they were the team behind PREDATORS. Anyway, Alien VS Predator: Evolution has been released for mobile devices, which is to say that it is available for Android and iOS. Of course, the focus here is all Android.

Kyocera Torque smartphone review

Kyocera recently announced the Torque smartphone. The announcement actually came towards the end of February and key to that, the Torque has arrived as a full touchscreen smartphone that is built to Military Standard 810G. While these rugged devices tend to not have us quite as excited as some of the other non-rugged smartphones these days, we have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. Basically, the Kyocera Torque is a rugged smartphone that seems to be able to handle the regular everyday use that we demand from a smartphone almost as well as it can handle the elements.
