Docomo announces two new Disney phones, launching soon
Two new Android phones were just announced by both Docomo and Disney, and should be launching in Q1 of this year. Their names are the Docomo F-08D and P-05D. Both have a Disney skinned UI running, and are also waterproof! These aren't the first Disney phones released, but make a welcomed addition.

Motorola Spyder revealed with Super AMOLED qHD screen, dual-core, and LTE
How about a new powerhouse Android smartphone to start our weekend? What has just been revealed is apparently codenamed the Motorola Spyder but sources are calling this the DROID RAZR. I'm not sure if I'm more excited to see the name RAZR be revived, or the fact it has a qHD 960 x 540 Super AMOLED display. More details and images after the break.

Motorola Droid 3 Now Live at Droid Does Website, Available Now?
We still have not heard anything official out of Verizon or Motorola regarding the Droid 3 but it has now appeared quietly without anyone being told right on the Droid Does website. This is basically as official as it can get but we still would like Verizon to come out and announce the device. Right on the site you can check out all of the phones on Verizon and if you initiate Droid Does and click on the Droid 3 you will get all the details you could ever possibly need.

Chinese Site Gets Hands All Over Droid 3
Following in what is becoming a time honored tradition of Moto's Droid phones leaking like crazy, the Droid 3 found its way into the hands of XDA.cn recently to leak just about everything that was left to be leaked about this still unofficial phone. The Chinese reviewers do not appear to have a very high opinion of the phone, due to some lackluster specs and their rather low opinion of Motoblur. We've dived through the 8-page review courtesy of Google Translate and mined out all the juicy stuff for you.

Motorola Droid X2 Review
We have had a few days with a couple new Android devices lately, they were both sporting 4.3" qHD Displays and boy do they look good. Today we have a few more details and pictures as well as our review of the Motorola Droid X2. We have had our paws on it all weekend and I must say I am impressed so far, from the nice and simple touches to the UI Overlay, all the way down to the hardware (even though its identical to the first Droid X). We have put Verizon's first dual-core beast through a test run and it is time to share our thoughts.

HTC Rider, and Kingdom pictures leaked
Well what do we have here, these could be really fun to see. Next generation devices from HTC possibly? Or they might be the European version of upcoming phones like the EVO 3D or the HTC Sensation. We aren't sure as they look pretty familiar. See for yourself below.

Droid X2 Shown in the Wild [Video]
The funniest thing about Area 51 is it's the worst kept secret in the federal government. Everyone knows it's there but Uncle Sam. Now what does this have to do with the headline? Everyone knows about the Droid X2, but Motorola won't fess up about it. Even when there's this video and images of it in action ....

HTC Pyramid could have 960 x 540 qHD display tips latest leak

HTC Pyramid could have 960 x 540 qHD display tips latest leak
HTC just can't seem to keep the Pyramid in its box ahead of the Android 2.4 Gingerbread smartphone's official debut at CTIA 2011 this week; first we saw the back, with the unibody-style chassis and 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, and now it's the front that's been spotted. Up close to an HTC Desire HD in GSMArena's picture, the Pyramid appears to have a higher-resolution display, going by the narrower menu bar. That would fit in with rumors of a qHD display, like the Motorola ATRIX 4G, running at 960 x 540 rather than the more common WVGA 800 x 480. We've been asking for higher-resolution Android devices for ages now, so if so this could be a welcome change from HTC. Inside we're expecting a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM and the usual bevy of connectivity, along with the latest version of Sense. [via SlashGear]

HTC Thunderbolt display comparison: looks are deceiving

HTC Thunderbolt display comparison: looks are deceiving
Users of the new HTC Thunderbolt may be quite happy with the phone's touchscreen display ... so long as they don't show it next to the Google Nexus S or the Atrix 4G. Comparing the Thunderbolt's TFT display with the Google Nexus S Super AMOLED display or even the Atrix 4g qHD display, it really shows just how muted and washed out the images from the TBolt really look. But according to the review by Vince over at SlashGear, it's still a pretty impressive display. Users just shouldn't succumb to display envy.

Motorola Bionic Heading to Verizon, Packing 4G LTE and qHD Display
Motorola has been on a streak today with their Android devices, especially when we think about high-profile the company is aiming these devices to be. With the Motorola ATRIX 4G, the company touts it as the first smartphone to feature a qHD display. The Bionic, which will be launching on Verizon's network sooner than later, also features the high resolution display, but the obvious difference seems to be the lack of MOTOBLUR functionality between the devices.
