Moto X gets a back-to-school discount

You are probably tired of reading about it, but there might still be some souls out there waiting for the perfect time to grab a Moto X. Well, Motorola is giving those another chance with yet another seasonal discount promo, just in time for school, at least for some in the US.

Marvel offering 1st month promo to read over 15,000 comics

How much would you pay to have unlimited access to over 15,000 digital comics for a month? The folks over at Marvel, in preparation for the massive San Diego Comic Con happening next week, have decided that all it should cost you is just $0.99. Yes, that’s not a typo, that really is just a very special offer for the first month of new subscribers to Marvel Unlimited, their massive digital library.

Moto X gets another discount promo

It's nice to hear of price cuts, temporary or permanent, once in a while, though having one almost every other week might start to sound suspicious. That said, the Moto X is getting another temporary price reduction which Motorola says is just in time to keep you warm this Valentine's Day.

Android Market offers even more free music

You have to admit, it would be terrible trying to compete with the discounted - and often free - music tracks in Google's Android Market. You all know about Google's 'Free Song of the Day', but did you know there are a couple other hidden freebies out there tonight? The list isn't too long, but great songs for free none the less.

Verizon offering “Smartphone App Pack” With NFL Premium and more for $12.99

Verizon has just kicked off a new promotion for their subscribers offering what they are calling the "Smartphone App Pack". It sounds like a pretty decent deal at first but now that I've taken a closer look I'm not too impressed. For those that don't want to use the free options like Google Maps Navigator, and Google Voice for voicemail Verizon is offering their own services together with NFL Premium for one low price.

Any Verizon 4G phone marked down $100, but there’s a catch…

This may be some excellent news for those of you looking to pick up a Samsung Galaxy Nexus (or any other Verizon 4G phone for that matter). Verizon has been contacting some of its customers with a $100 instant rebate to any of their 4G phones if their customer was previously the owner of a 3G-only smartphone. Though they've been contacting select customers - all Verizon subscribers that fall into this situation are eligible.
