Facebook invite teases arrival of a “new product” next week

Apparently the folks from Facebook have another product they'd like to share with the world. The man in charge, Mark Zuckerberg, and his entire team have been busy adding Twitter-style #hashtags to Facebook, introducing new home replacement launchers on Android, and even the HTC First "Facebook Phone" (fail) but apparently they aren't done yet.

We're a little closer to getting this beautiful tablet in our hands. Amazon is now taking pre-orders for the Archos 7 tablet. You can place your order now for a very pocket friendly $199 for this 8GB model. The 2GB model is expected to be priced at $179. Amazon may be the first of many retailers to carry this device, now shipping date has been set but it’s expected to start at the end of this month.

Barnes & Noble Nook will hit Best Buy Soon

If you’re in the market for an eReader, the Barnes &Noble Nook is the perfect choice for you. This Android powered eReader will be available for sale at Best Buy on April 18th. The Nook will cost $259.99 and will also be on sale at Barnes & Noble's website and 723 bookstores.

We're all aware of AT&T's recent Android releases with certain Google apps removed or replaced. These are the most restricted Android devices on the market today. Orange may be following suit with their upcoming Android devices. Google Maps, Youtube, Gmail, Gtalk and possibly Search too will all be removed in their devices.
