HTC event set for November 3rd, may announce the HTC Rezound

HTC has just announced their plans for another product unveiling for next week in NYC. Thursday, November 3rd they'll be holding a media event to show us and the world their latest innovation. Most likely we will be rocking out with some beats audio and possibly a 720p HD display with the new HTC Rezound (codenamed Vigor) headed to Verizon Wireless with 4G LTE. This is just a guess, but most likely that is what they'll have in store for everyone.

Amazon sending out press invites, I sense an Android tablet

Just hitting the wires this morning is the long awaited press invite from Amazon. In what appears to be nothing but an invite and a tease for an upcoming press conference being held by Amazon we can only expect this to be the long awaited and much rumored Android Kindle Tablet.

HTC Explorer press shot revealed, HTC Sense 3.5 and more

HTC seems to have no plans on slowing down when it comes to hitting every aspect of the Android market. With top tier phones like the Sensation 4G, and low end phones like the pictured HTC Explorer. What we have here is the official press shot of the HTC Explorer, known previously and leaked as the HTC Pico. Along with a slight design change and some Sense UI 3.5 the Explorer aims to be a decent entry level smartphone.

Verizon Invites Press to LTE Innovation Center – Devices of Wonder Inside?

We're amongst the chosen elite superstar press to be invited to an event that'll be taking place on July 12, 2011 at a location to be announced. This location will have a building made by Verizon to act as its LTE Innovation Center. Behold! Says they, this is the future of connectedness, and we've got a building to contain it all! Will this place hold secrets of unfortold wonder, will it have devices that we've never dreamed of before? Will they be serving punch and pie? Only way we can find out is to go, yes? Let's do it!

Sprint / Motorola Event Scheduled for June 9th [Dual-Core Ahoy?]

We've just received an invite to an event that'll be taking place at the beginning of next month, June 9th 2011 at 30 minutes after noon all the way over in New York. We'll be there with bells on, of course, and we'll be bringing you all the coverage your heart can handle sooner than anyone else - you can bank on it! Meanwhile, lets talk a little bit about what they might be revealing as this event.

Samsung Announces May 24th Press Event in NYC

What could this one be? With two big events so close together, you've just got to assume it's going to be a set of amazing phones jamming down the tube. What other event, you ask? Just yesterday we were told about a May 5th event (which we'll also be at,) one that we're banking will be the reveal point of the Samsung Infuse 4G, while this next one on the 24th is bound and determined to be the USA date for everyone's favorite best-selling Android phone line. Can you guess what we're guessing?

Android Community at CTIA Wireless 2011

Android Community is hard at work at CTIA Wireless 2011, the annual mobile confab which this year is in Orlando, Florida. We're expecting a ton of wireless news including stories on Android phones and even more tablets. In fact, news has already been leaked that AT&T is bringing the Nexus S 4G, with it's pure Google Android experience, to mobile customers this year along with the LG Thrill 4G and HTC HD7S.

CTIA 2011 [Full Preview and Anticipation Guide]

When I write this post, I am literally on an airplane flying from Minneapolis International Airport down to Orlando Florida where I and several compatriots of mine representing both Android Community and SlashGear will be having a fabulous time walking around CTIA 2011 in addition to listening in on some keynote speeches by the heads of this mobile industry in the USA. The following guide will show you what we expect to see this year at the Orange County Convention Center from groups like HTC, LG, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, and heck, maybe even a little Nokia since the rumors of them keeping Android in mind while they roll out with Windows Phone 7 in the meantime. But what about Motorola?

Android Honeycomb Event Available Now for Review

The Android 3.0 Honeycomb event that took place yesterday morning is now available for watching on repeat via Android Developers YouTube channel. This archived video will be helpful not only for those that didn't get the chance to watch the event live, but also for those journalists writing about the event as the event occurred - this is a great opportunity to fix all those tiny errors and misspellings.
