Google I/O 2012 dates announced
The biggest Google event of the year, Google's I/O developer conference has just been announced for 2012. It will be held on April 24-25th and will most likely be just as amazingly awesome as the last. Hopefully this time around we get a bigger stage because tickets sold out in less than an hour for I/O 2011. It will take place at the Moscone Center West in San Francisco, California. Just in time for Easter you bet we'll be seeing plenty of hidden eggs and special treats from the G-men.

Sprint Press Conference happening now at CTIA SF
Sprint is currently taking the stage at CTIA San Francisco 2010. We are expecting some new hardware announcements, possibly from Kyocera’s Zio line, and an LG Optimus handset for Sprint. We may even be lucky enough to hear the official pricing and availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab which is still expected later this year. We are currently in the audience eagerly anticipating some major announcements, stay tuned for updates!

Verizon’s upcoming 4G network to be detailed tomorrow at CTIA
We know Verizon has plans to launch a nationwide 4G network starting with few cities soon. However, other than that we haven’t heard much officially of what their plans are, what it’s going to cost, where it’s going to be and so fourth. This is all expected to change tomorrow when Verizon’s Chief Operating Officer and President, Lowell McAdam, takes the stage and give us the details of what is going to be happen, and when it will all take place.

Samsung just announced that the Galaxy Tab will be coming in a WiFi only version when it launches in the coming months. As if 4 carriers was not enough options for you, you now have one more, contract free option to get your hands on the hyped tablet. No price point or availability yet but more details to come following the currently ongoing press conference. [Via Slashgear]
