US Cellular unveils new, lower-priced no-contract plan

US Cellular has rolled out a new, lower-priced no-contract plan option. This one sits priced at $50 per month and includes unlimited talk, text and data. Of course, as we often see with the mention of unlimited -- there is some fine print you will want to know up front. In this case, the data is unlimited, but only some of that will be at high-speed.

Boost Mobile launches the 5.7-inch MAX phablet

Boost Mobile has announced the immediate availability of the MAX phablet from ZTE. The handset is simply dubbed the Boost MAX and will bring a 5.7-inch HD IPS display. Boost Mobile is playing up the size of the display here, tempting folks with a bit about how the large screen size of the MAX "brings the best of a smartphone and tablet together."

Verizon Moto G release confirmed for January 9

Putting an end to the rumors, Verizon Wireless has confirmed the release date and pricing for the Moto G. The handset will be joining the prepaid lineup as of January 9th and as was expected, it will be selling for $99.99. Verizon will initially have the Moto G available online, however the handset is also expected in retail stores sometime in the "coming weeks."
