Rogers taking Galaxy S III pre-orders, Canadian pricing revealed

Canadian Samsung fans, today is the day you've been waiting for. Just hours after regional carrier Videotron put up their standard sign-up page for the Galaxy S III, Rogers has begun taking pre-orders for the flagship device. Current Rogers customers can reserve theirs at this website, and prospective switchers can sign up for information. Unfortunately, there's no word on pricing or availability.

Samsung Galaxy S III Pebble Blue delayed

Don't get too worried folks. The Galaxy S III itself hasn't been delayed, but if you were planning on picking up the shiny Pebble Blue model instead of white you might be waiting an extra month or two. We are now hearing from multiple sources that the blue Galaxy S III has been delayed and Samsung will be pushing the white model until further notice.

HTC EVO 4G LTE arriving early for some

Anyone that is excited for the new HTC EVO 4G LTE should know plenty about the "situation" by now for the smartphone. After initially set to launch last week the phones were delayed at customs thanks to a petty lawsuit from Apple. Multiple reports have since claimed the phones start shipping today, May 24th, but now it looks like many pre-order customers have already received their new phones.

Samsung Galaxy S III up for sale early in Dubai

Most of us are still patiently waiting for the brand new flagship Samsung Galaxy S III to finally arrive and be available to buy. Although the phone isn't supposed to be on the market until the very end of the month, we can now confirm from multiple reports the Galaxy S III is on sale in parts of Dubai.

Galaxy S III gets 9 million pre-orders worldwide

The original Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S II have sold over 30 million units around the world in the last two years. But if a report from the Korea Economic Daily is anything to go by, the Galaxy S III will beat them both with a metaphorical hand tied behind its backplate. They estimate that nine million units have been pre-ordered around the world, from over 100 carriers - and there's still a week and a half to go before the first phones start rolling out to Europe.

HTC EVO 4G LTE coming May 23rd according to Best Buy

It looks like those who pre-ordered the new HTC EVO 4G LTE might have some good news coming there way today after all. Yesterday the carrier and HTC confirmed that the impressive new smartphone was being delayed at US Customs for inspections after the HTC vs Apple lawsuits, but today Best Buy is claiming something a bit different.

Vodafone begins registration for Galaxy S III updates

While the rest of us bear with Samsung's incessant teasing before its May 3rd announcement of "the next Galaxy", UK carrier Vodafone has jumped the gun a bit. They're already setting up for the release of what is almost certainly the Galaxy S III with a generic update registration page. The small banner uses the same font and galactic style as Samsung's own preview website, but doesn't mention a date. That's probably because it'll be a while after the press event itself that we actually see the phone released to retail.

ASUS Transformer Pad 300 gets a pre-order in France

Do you love the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime, but want something a little down-market? Do you live in or around France? The head on over to the Tablette Store and say, "Je veux le bleu, s'il vous plaît." The ASUS Transformer Pad 300 (minus the "Eee" branding, finally) has just gone up for pre-order. The 32GB version is set at  €499, or about $650. ASUS mentioned a cheaper 16GB alternative when it debuted the 10-inch tablet at Mobile World Congress, but there's no sign of it today - though the retailer says that the tablet will be available on May 15th. Presumably the price is for the tablet alone, though the keyboard dock is pictured.

ASUS Padfone pre-orders start in Taiwan, going on sale April 20th

If there's one device that's caught the imaginations of those looking for a real shift in the mobile space, it's the ASUS Padfone. This docking ICS phone/tablet/netbook combo has wowed onlookers since the concept was introduced last summer. ASUS showed off a production device at Mobile World Congress and vowed to ship in April, and it looks like they're sticking to that for their home territory of Taiwan. Residents can begin placing pre-orders for the Ice Cream Sandwich phone tomorrow, and it's set to ship on April 20th.
