RAmos Launches HD Video Recording-capable PMP

Not much is known about this PMP, it's rumored to be running some variation of Android but there is no solid evidence of that as of yet. It is a great looking piece of hardware and if Android is indeed the chosen OS, this will be a welcome addition to the Android family. It has 720p and 1080p video playback, a 7-inch (800 x ×480) display screen and an HDMI out. There is also support for many different types of media such as, RMVB, AVI, WMV, VOB, FLV, and MPG for starters. There is no set price, I would image that it will not be a cheap device. This is a great choice for all your multimedia needs. [via ramos]

Want an Android Phone? Don’t Choose AT&T

We all thought that Verizon would be the one to lock down Android. Verizon chose the other option and allowed Android to breath and mainly left its core untouched. In comes AT&T, first they stripped out Google Search in every area of the device but that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Google Gesture Search out for Android 2.x

Binatone iHome Phone – Android based Home Phone

This may revitalize the use of landlines. Today, most of us use our mobile devices exclusively for our telecommunications needs. Personally I haven't used my landline in years, it’s just there as a backup. This home unit is a beauty and nobody will ever know it’s a landline (unless you take it too far and it drops your call). Tons of specs are after the break.

Car Locator Android App Makes $13,000 a Month

Developer Edward Kim is undoubtedly pleased with his $13,000/month from the Car Locator app in the Android Market. He states that he made this app as a side project while vacationing with family. Not bad for a side project, this app finished third in Google's Android Developer Challenge 2.

ARCHOS reveals its two Android tablets

We discussed in the past the possibility of a second Archos Android Tablet, looks like the rumor has come true. Archos has just confirmed that there are plans for an Archos 7 and 8. But the Archos 8 will be a photo frame outfitted with Android.

Droid Does Sense

Not to be out done by its younger brother, the Nexus One, the Droid now does Sense. HTC's custom Android UI dubbed Sense is the most popular version of any manufacturer's in-house UI. It is full of beautiful widgets (no pun intended) that has deep customization as well as many other options. The most notable features of Sense are the built Flash capabilities and native multi-touch integration.
