RockPlayerBase player, AVI, MKV, DIVX and RMVB for Android
Since Android was introduced, there have been many complaints about its lack of .avi and .divx playback. Since then there has been a few phones with .divx capabilities but there still was no player for the rest of us. The RockPlayerBase allows any Android 2.1 handset to playback XviD, DivX, Mkv and even RMVB files. .

Flash 10.1 vs Flash Lite – Video
Most of you hardcore vanilla Android fans may not know this but Flash support isn’t a new feature that was implemented into Froyo (2.2). Sense UI has enjoyed Flash since its inception with built in Flash support. For the most part, Flash lite performed pretty well. Engadget has put together a head to head challenge between the newly release Flash 10.1 for 2.2 Nexus One’s and Flash lite that is included with the 2.1 Desire. Who’s going to be the winner?

LG Aloha, Still Alive and Headed To AT&T?
Here’s a device that has undergone many changes on its way onto the market. The LG Aloha could very well be the LG LU2300, most of heard that it was renamed Ally but that may not be the case. A device from LG with the model number LG-C710h has just passed through the FCC.

LG Aloha Shows up in Verizon’s Inventory
Looks like my earlier suspicion of the LG LU2300 being renamed ALOHA, aka LG VS740 as it’s called in Verizon’s system, has come true. Verizon will have an impressive Android lineup this spring/summer with the addition of this, another 2.1 device that also has a 1GHZ Snapdragon and other great features.

Get your iTunes music on your phone with MP3tunes
Keeping all your iTunes music is a deciding factor for most potential Android users. iTunes has been around for years and many people use it as their main source of music storage.  Most people decide to stick with the iPhone just because of the iTunes integration. Now you can keep all your music in iTunes and sync them to your Android device thanks to MP3tunes.

RAmos Launches HD Video Recording-capable PMP
Not much is known about this PMP, it's rumored to be running some variation of Android but there is no solid evidence of that as of yet. It is a great looking piece of hardware and if Android is indeed the chosen OS, this will be a welcome addition to the Android family. It has 720p and 1080p video playback, a 7-inch (800 x ×480) display screen and an HDMI out. There is also support for many different types of media such as, RMVB, AVI, WMV, VOB, FLV, and MPG for starters. There is no set price, I would image that it will not be a cheap device. This is a great choice for all your multimedia needs. [via ramos]
