Google Play Music and Movies has come to iOS. Rather than keeping to Android, Play Music and Movies have made their way to the App Store. This is another in many steps for Google to become agnostic about OS, and more concentrated on services.
Final Fantasy VI is coming to Android. Via a tweet, Square Enix, publishers of the Final Fantasy series, announced the sixth installment would come to Android today. We’ve been checking the Play Store, and have yet to see it, though there is a Beta Wiki available. For Final Fantasy fans, this is another step in a growing and impressive mobile catalog.

Koushik Dutta has once again run afoul of Google. This time he’s alleged to have erred on some Play Store policies for his Helium and ROM Manager apps, according to Google. The search giant has removed his apps from circulation, citing “Violation of the paid and free provision of the Content Policy and section 3.3 of the Developer Distribution Agreement.”
We’re all big fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, and as Android enthusiasts we’re always happy to see a title make its way to the Play Store. Motorola has been steadily adding some of their core apps to the Play Store. Over the past few weeks we have seen an update for the Touchless Control app and also the Camera app. And as of today, it looks like another has arrived. This latest is dubbed Motorola Contextual Services and while there is a change, this update isn't front facing.
A new report by AppAnnie has some interesting statistics about Japanese spending habits in the Play Store. According to their research, Play Store Japan is more lucrative than the US when comparing user spending habits. The Japanese Android user will spend roughly 10% more than their US counterpart, an odd turnaround considering that last year Japan was spending about 40% less that we did stateside.
