Google URL Shortener app arrives in the Play Store

Those looking to quickly shorten URLs on an Android smartphone or tablet now have another app to consider. The app is called Google URL Shortener, and comes courtesy of Thomas Devaux. And just to clarify that last bit, this is not an official app from Google. Needless to say, it is easy to use, and does exactly what one would expect.

Fives for Android can replace your current Flappy Bird addiction

As we try to flush Flappy Bird from our memories, some will find help by simply shifting towards another addiction game. The other side involved developers who were simply looking to cash in on the Flappy Bird fallout -- without the use of malware.

Themer Play Store suspension due to alleged copyright infringement

But as of today, it seems there is another chapter in the story. The app had been pulled from the Play Store earlier in the month due to alleged copyright infringement and now with the issue seemingly resolved, the app has yet to return to an available status.

Flappy Bird — can we really say goodbye?

Now that Flappy Bird is gone from us, we’re left wondering what just happened. A game, which has been in existence (and available!) for months, suddenly rises like a Phoenix and scorches the earth below. Frustrating, ugly, and maddeningly simple, Flappy Bird was pulled from various app stores over the weekend. Did we learn our lesson, though?
