Google Play Movies, Music, and TV now available on Google TV

Today the folks from Mountain View have finally delivered the Google Play experience to those using Google TV. Well done Google. Took long enough! Today on the official Google TV Blog they outed the new options, features, as well as new developer tools. More details available after the break.

Nexus 7 32GB model shipped from Play Store in Japan

Last week there was tons of speculation and rumors floating around that Google and ASUS were preparing to release a 32GB Nexus 7. Then the 32GB model showed up in a few online inventory systems, and adding fuel to the fire stated an October 24th release date. Today is our biggest hint with a reader claiming he purchased the 16GB model from the Google Play Store in Japan, only he received a 32GB model instead.

Google Music Fall Flash Sale offering fresh albums for $2.99

Is it just us or does it seem like Google is having a sale on music on a daily basis? Every time you head to the Play Store you'll be greeted with a few new albums for $3.99 and sometimes even less. This time around the sales are impressive though. Their Amazon approach offering free daily songs, good deals, and low prices should hopefully be helping Google Play Music grow. Today they've announced a new "Flash Sale" offering fall classics for just $2.99 per album.

Google Field Trip app launches on the Play Store

Anyone in need of a virtual tour guide to take you on adventurous field trips? Google has you covered. Today Google has released a new app in partner with NianticLabs that is called "Field Trip" to be your virtual tour guide. The folks from Google simply explain it as, “your guide to the cool, hidden, and unique things in the world around you.” Lets check out their video below.

In celebration of Google's Play Store passing the 25 billion apps downloaded milestone earlier this week, they're offering tons of the most popular apps and games all for just a quarter. Yesterday we showed you a list of plenty of popular apps, although the offers weren't that great. Today however they're all looking much better.

Google Play Store “End Of Summer Sale” now live

We told you more deals were bound to appear this weekend and it looks like they are already starting. With Max Payne and multiple Gameloft games all being offered for just $.99 cents today Google has finally kicked off their end of summer sale. So far there's well over 20 apps listed, and surely we'll be seeing more later this week.

Personalized “Recommended For You” app section hits the Google Play Store

Hey, that's new! Yesterday Google rolled out another neat new feature for their ever growing, expanding, and maturing Play Store for Android. They've been busy with it as of late but today we now have a "Recommended For You" app section that should help with app discovery. It's a welcomed change so lets take a look.

Google Now updated with new notification cards and team edit options

We have some excellent news this evening. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean's awesome Google Now feature, also known as Google Search has just received a very nifty update from Google today adding tons of awesome features. As many of you know Google Now gives weather and traffic alerts, sports scores and more all in neat and easy to read cards. Now they've added tons of new notification cards and the option to edit teams.

Google Play Music updated with expandable notifications – Magazines updated too

Google's been pushing out a few updates today improving some of their popular apps. Inside one of the more important apps, Google Play Music, you'll now have full support for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean expanded notifications. This is an amazing feature and one I'm glad to see arrive for Google Music.
