NVIDIA Phoenix smartphone platform revealed with Tegra 4i quad-core
Earlier today NVIDIA announced their all new Tegra 4i quad-core 4G LTE integrated mobile processor, but they weren't finished with their news. Last year NVIDIA released the KAI tablet platform which gave customers and OEMs a reference guide for which they could quickly design and release Tegra 3 tablets to the market for cheap, much like the Nexus 7 tablet for $199. Today they've announced the same plan for smartphones. Meet the NVIDIA "Phoenix" reference platform.

The WIMM Wearable Platform is a new 1.4" display that will be powered by Android and tons of "micro apps" to take advantage of the thin, sleek, powerful and unique platform. This is wearable Android ladies and gentleman, and I want one as soon as possible.

This may be one of the coolest inventions I’ve ever seen. A coder by the name of Steffest has managed to get these three OS’s to work together on a music app. The guitar looks cool also, it consists of a few of these phones strapped to it somehow and the music is made by pressing the various touch screens on the guitar.

There are 38,000 Apps in The Android Market
This is a great accomplishment for Android. The market is growing faster than most of us anticipated. This was revealed during this afternoon's Q1 earnings press conference, Jeff Huber who is  Google's senior VP of engineering. Also, Google views the Nexus One as a “profitable business” even though most analyst feel it didn’t sell enough units overall.
