Motorola is keeping up with their promise to update their Android smartphones in a more timely manor. We heard this back when Dennis Woodside from Google took over, and lately updates have been rather quick. Their latest smartphone from the dying breed of QWERTY Sliders is getting improved to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean this afternoon.

Motorola has been on a hot streak lately with software updates for many of their impressive Android smartphones. One that is getting updated today - although not the update we want - is the QWERTY keyboard packing PHOTON Q slider. As the title implies, this isn't Jelly Bean but you'll want to accept the update anyways as usual.
Motorola PHOTON Q smartphone fans, because the phone is about to get a much needed software update. Sadly there isn't a bag of Jelly Beans with this update, but instead you'll be greeted with tons of improvements, bug fixes, and a few new features so head down past the break for the full rundown of what to expect.
