Samsung's Note is back and better than ever with an improved, thinner, more powerful design for round two. Spotted by MyDrivers (via UnwiredView), information for a new phablet called the Huawei Ascend Mate has appeared on the company's website, and it appears that Huawei has big plans to tackle the space that has been dominated by Samsung's Galaxy Note line-up. Get ready too, because the Huawei Ascend Mate boasts a screen size that can only be described as "absurd."

We've been hearing a lot lately about what we might see from Google as the next Nexus smartphone. Samsung Galaxy Note II reportedly hits T-Mobile October 24th

When Samsung announced their Galaxy Note II we know many were hopeful it would arrive for their carrier here in the US. Thankfully Samsung is releasing their new 5.5-inch phablet smartphone to 5 major US carriers starting around early November. After making that initial announcement we haven't heard anything from carriers. A new leak today reveals T-Mobile could launch their version on October 24th.

We have good news and bad news today for all those Galaxy Note II fans. The impressive new flagship phablet Galaxy Note II has gone up for sale today -- only it's in the UK. Those folks here in the US still have a month or so of waiting before you can get it on your favorite 4G LTE carrier. Those in the UK get the first crack at the new 5.5-inch smartphone thanks to Three UK.
