Pebble appstore unveiled ahead of early 2014 launch

The folks at Pebble have announced the news we suspect many have been waiting for, the app store. In this case, that will be the "Pebble appstore" and it is expected to be open and ready sometime in "early" 2014. The specifics beyond that have yet to be revealed, however the folks at Pebble have said the store will integrate seamlessly with the existing Android app.

Music Boss for Pebble hands-on

It looks like the Pebble team has begun pushing some apps. An email blast was sent out earlier this morning highlighting a few Pebble apps. Two of the three were for Android and one in particular caught our attention. The app is called MusicBoss and as the name would suggest, it deals with music control.

Pebble smartwatch now available with Amazon

The retail availability of the Pebble smartwatch has been expanding over time. And as of today, it looks like the smartwatch has arrived with yet another retailer. The latest is Amazon and they have the watch available in two colors and as a Prime eligible item.

Pebble talks numbers and SDK v2.0

Pebble began teasing some updates earlier in the week. Basically, they announced an event that is scheduled to take place at 10AM PST on November 6th. And while that event is just getting underway, it looks like the bigger side here is going to be for iOS users. The folks at Pebble have said the smartwatch is now fully integrated with iOS 7 and that it works "seamlessly" with Notification Center. But along with the iOS 7 news, Pebble has also shared some numbers and some details on version 2.0 of the SDK.

Pebble begins teasing new and updated software

While there are plenty of third-party apps to further customize your Pebble smartwatch, it does seem like it has been some time since an official software update has arrived. But with that in mind, it looks like we are going to get something software related from Pebble next week.
