Samsung found guilty across the board – fined over 1 billion dollars

Things surely aren't looking good for Samsung right about now. As I'm sure you're all aware the lawsuit between Samsung and Apple is currently going through the final verdict stages. After a 3 week lawsuit and hours of deliberation the jury has found Samsung "guilty" for all 21 phones brought forward, but not on the Galaxy Tab line. More details below.

Judge Koh asks Apple if they’re “smoking crack” in Samsung lawsuit

Go Judge Koh! Today some tempers are getting slightly heated after the continuous and ongoing legal battle between Samsung and Apple. This has been a huge topic in the news as of late, and honestly we feel it's getting a bit old. Today however the Judge spiced things up by asking Apple's Attorney's if they're smoking crack.

Samsung buys chipmaker CSR’s technology and patents

Today Samsung has acquired the chipmaker company CSR's wireless handset technology and patents for the tune of around $310 million. CSR is a UK technology company that mainly deals in single-chip Bluetooth solutions for smartphones and other mobile devices. Along with buying out their technology they've also acquired a large set of patents. Cheers for playing a little defense Samsung!

Google Nexus 7 features smart cover magnetic sensor

I guess there are a few features we didn't know of when it came to Google's brand new Nexus 7 tablet. It appears that there are still a few mysteries surrounding the device. No we aren't talking about the release date either, this is about smart covers. It seems that Google's added a magnetic sensor on the bottom left side of the tablet that smart covers can take advantage of. Check out the video after the break.

Google: Galaxy Nexus will be back on sale next week

In case you missed the news, this week Apple was granted an injunction and sales ban of Samsung and Google's Galaxy Nexus smartphone. Unless you've been living under a rock lately you'll know that Apple vs Samsung (and others) has been a huge legal discussion as of late. After Google pulled the Nexus from their online store this week they've now confirmed it will be back next week ready to rock.
