Parrot has announced a refresh for the AR.Drone 2.0. Those looking back will remember this model was originally announced in the early part of 2013, though, since that point we have seen several updates. The month of July brought an extended battery and improved app and the month of August brought the Power Edition model. Well, as of today there is now the AR.Drone 2.0 Elite Edition.
Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 is quite the fun little mobile-device friendly flying quadricopter, and it's about to get even better. With summer flying by the folks from Parrot have decided to up their game and release an all-new AR.Drone 2.0 "Power Edition" with new colors, longer flight times, and some customization for those looking to have a little fun.
Parrot AR.Drone just got even better. The Android and iOS controlled quadricopter by Parrot and the entire platform just got improved with tons of new features for their app, as well as an extended high density battery for longer flight. We recently got our hands-on the Parrot AR.Drone and flight time was one of our biggest complaints.
Parrot launched their ASTEROID line of devices back in March. This device lineup consists of the Smart, Tablet and Mini -- all of which have access to the Parrot ASTEROID Market. Before anyone shifts focus thinking this is yet another market to download Android apps, the ASTEROID market does have one unique factor going for it. This market brings a focus on apps that are designed for use while in the car.
Project SHIELD are game related. Today however we are seeing something different. And while the focus is still clearly on entertainment, this time the Project SHIELD controller is being used to control something not on the screen. Well, technically you can see the action on the screen, however the Project SHIELD is being used to pilot a Parrot AR.Drone.
Parrot released their first car stereo powered by Android last year known as the Parrot Asteroid, but today they've just detailed three brand new devices that will bring Android to your car entertainment needs. The first being a 6.2-inch Double-Din full out system known as the Parrot Asteroid Smart, then they have a few tablets as well.
