Parrot FreeFlight 3 controls two MiniDrones in one app

Drone-loving Android users can now play around with Parrot's new MiniDrone toys. With the FreeFlight 3 control app now available on Google Play Store, owners of Parrot's new Jumping Sumo and Rolling Spider drones can now direct them to roll, jump, fly, and do all kinds of stunts and mayhem right from their smartphone or tablet.

Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Elite Edition brings sand, snow and jungle camouflage

Parrot has announced a refresh for the AR.Drone 2.0. Those looking back will remember this model was originally announced in the early part of 2013, though, since that point we have seen several updates. The month of July brought an extended battery and improved app and the month of August brought the Power Edition model. Well, as of today there is now the AR.Drone 2.0 Elite Edition.

This week the Parrot AR.Drone just got even better. The Android and iOS controlled quadricopter by Parrot and the entire platform just got improved with tons of new features for their app, as well as an extended high density battery for longer flight. We recently got our hands-on the Parrot AR.Drone and flight time was one of our biggest complaints.

Parrot ZIK Wireless Headphones Review

We have recently spent some time playing with a set of Parrot headphones. Specifically, the Parrot ZIK headphones, which come as a result of a partnership with Philippe Stark. These headphones feature goodies such as active noise cancellation, a touch control panel, Bluetooth, NFC and a motion detector. Parrot also has an Android app available called the Parrot Audio Suite.

Parrot ASTEROID app market gains a car-friendly version of Facebook

Parrot launched their ASTEROID line of devices back in March. This device lineup consists of the Smart, Tablet and Mini -- all of which have access to the Parrot ASTEROID Market. Before anyone shifts focus thinking this is yet another market to download Android apps, the ASTEROID market does have one unique factor going for it. This market brings a focus on apps that are designed for use while in the car.

More often than not our mentions of Project SHIELD are game related. Today however we are seeing something different. And while the focus is still clearly on entertainment, this time the Project SHIELD controller is being used to control something not on the screen. Well, technically you can see the action on the screen, however the Project SHIELD is being used to pilot a Parrot AR.Drone.
