It's update season over at Verizon Wireless and we can now confirm one of their mid-range handsets from Pantech is getting a quick software update this week. Pantech P4100 LTE tablet hits FCC and bound toward AT&T
Pantech recently had released the Breakout to Verizon earlier this year, and headed toward AT&T seems to be a tablet to run on their newly found 4G LTE network. The P4100 is only the model number of the device, but in due time we'll find out its proper name. Viewing the Android Community Weekly roundup this week will land you in-depth reviews of two amazingly well build devices, more information on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and some Android OS controlled supergadgets. Both American variants of the Samsung Galaxy S II are now in our possession! The Epic 4G Touch was extensively reviewed this past Sunday, with benchmarks even the original Galaxy S II can't touch (out of the box that is). The Epic 4G Touch is already available, but AT&T expects to release their Galaxy S II for under $200 coming October.

Pantech Breakout Verizon 4G LTE Smartphone Revealed
Verizon has a pretty big lineup over the next few weeks and months, but now we are starting to see some 4G LTE phones show up with a more moderate price tag. We all know plenty about the Bionic and other 4G superphones but not everyone needs the best. It appears Verizon is now starting to prep some great mid-range offerings on their 4G LTE network and one of those is the Pantech Breakout.

Pantech Breakout 4G LTE phone headed for Verizon
Here we have another Android device headed to Verizon packing some 4G LTE inside. This is the Pantech Breakout 4G LTE Smartphone and it should come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread at launch. We don't know much about Pantech or the Breakout, but we did recently see a Pantech 4G LTE phone clear the FCC named the Apache.
