heard plenty about recently. Some of those fancy developers at XDA we are always talking about in the android community have done it again, and already overclocked the SGS II to 1.5 Ghz and that is just the start.
$279 on woot.com . It is a great tablet for the price but it looks like woot didn't sell them all, because now Amazon has it as the deal of the day for the same price. (Shipped & Sold by Woot).
Rooftop Lightning Commercial yet. That should say it all, but if it doesn't then check out this story about the Thunderbolt being overclocked to 1.8 Ghz and tearing up benchmarks. It looks like today it got even more speed.
Motorola Xoom is quick don't get me wrong, but it just got a lot faster with the overclocking results I have to show you guys today. I went ahead and rooted with the very simple Xoom 1-Click-Root method, in that program you can also flash the latest Tiamat overclock kernel. I did that, took about 45 seconds. Now I'm cruising around at 1.504 Ghz and boy let me tell you, this thing is fast. Check out below to see what I mean.
Derek Rodriquez well enough to know for sure if these scores are real or accurate, but it appears that with his kernel "unboLTEd 0.2," incredible speeds and scores have been achieved. Overlocking to 1.8GHz is no small feat one a single-core machine, neither is achieving a score of 2772 in Quadrant benchmarking - but is it real? We can certainly cross our fingers and hope for the best!
