eVGA Precision X overclocking app heads to Android this week

They've just shared some sneak peak pictures of their new eVGA Precision X overclocking tool for Android. Now you'll be cranking those shaders up with an Android smartphone while getting ready for Crysis 3.

HTC EVO 3D and Sensation Overclocked to 1.7 Ghz

Did any of you guys see this coming? I did but not this soon as the EVO 3D and Sensation 4G are still locked down. No kernel source has been released and the bootloaders are still locked tight for the time being. Motorola Droid Kernels v0.3 Released by Peter Alfonso

The OG Droid as some call it is in fact the original Motorola Droid that was hugely popular over on Verizon. I still see the Droid more than almost any other Android I think. If you have rooted or toyed with your Droid most likely you know the name Peter Alfonso, he is the man that has been keeping the Droid chugging along for a while. With stock rooted Android 2.3 builds as well as all the different kernels you could ever imagine.

First Overclock Kernel in the Works for Galaxy Tab 10.1

If you hadn't noticed, most of the hardware in Honeycomb tablets looks a little similar. Since they're all running on NVIDIA's Tegra 2 chipset, and we've already seen the Transformer and Xoom overclocked. We knew it was only a matter of time, and now XDA member, pershoot, has a preview of a kernel which allows overclocking of the Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Now Chugging Along at 1.6 GHz

Not long ago we reported that the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer had been overclocked to 1.4 GHz. Never being satisfied, though, developers have cranked it up to 1.6 GHz, with 1.7 in sight. Reading through the thread over on XDA, it sounds like this new kernel is actually more stable than the one we last reported on.

Overclocking can be quite the gratifying experience, and overclocking dual-core tablets can make benchmarks cry. With the Motorola Xoom overclocked to 1.5 GHz last week, the rest of its Honeycomb brethren were sure to follow. Now a kernel is all ready for the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer to overclock, courtesy of XDA user netarchy. It isn't proven to be completely stable yet, but initial reports sound promising.
