Samsung Galaxy S III update rolling out in the UK

Those of you with the new flagship Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone will be happy to know the devices first update is rolling out today. It's being reported throughout the UK and parts of Europe, and appears to be rather small. You'll still be on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich but should have some improved stability.

DROID Bionic update rolling out – improves 4G LTE

We have good news to confirm this afternoon for all you DROID Bionic owners. After Verizon posted update support details and documents earlier this week we can happily report an over the air update is rolling out for the BIONIC as we speak. The update is rather small but fixes one critical flaw multiple users have been complaining about. More details and download links available below.

T-Mobile HTC One S update rolling out today – OTA only

For those that own the HTC One S over on T-Mobile the latest software update from HTC should be available and rolling out to handsets starting today. After initially launching the device a few problems apparently arose and HTC and T-Mobile have quickly fixed them up and have started the update today.

Verizon rolling out 4.0.4 OTA for the Galaxy Nexus

Nexus owners, mark your calendars: it's been exactly five and a half months since the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was released exclusively on Verizon in the United States. In that time the phone has received one and only one official update, to Android 4.0.2.... which was almost immediately overshadowed by 4.0.3, then 4.0.4 over two months ago. Today reports are spreading that Verizon is finally, finally sending out the 4.0.4 update over the air, making its LTE version of the Galaxy Nexus officially current for the first time in almost half a year.

T-Mobile HTC One S update delayed to June 4th

If you're one of the many proud new owners of the HTC One S we have some good and bad news for you today. This morning T-Mobile updated their support page for the HTC One S claiming a software update would start rolling out tomorrow, May 31st, to owners as reported by TmoNews. Now just a few short hours later they've changed the date and delayed it until early June.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE gets a minor update

It never rains, but it pours. In addition to the long, long awaited Android 4.0.4 update for the Galaxy Nexus, Verizon is sending out a software update for the pretty and pricey Galaxy Tab 7.7. No, it's not Ice Cream Sandwich (though that should be coming eventually) but you'll want to go ahead and install it if you want to stay on the official release path.

Would you look at that! Verizon and Samsung are finally ready to actually and officially roll out the update to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich for the Galaxy Nexus. After originally pushing the update and then quickly canceling, a few leaks and more Verizon is finally ready to give it the green light.

HTC details Android 4.0 ICS update dates – most coming late summer

HTC has just published another list officially confirming what HTC smartphones will be getting the update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Although a few already have, many are still patiently waiting and they've even confirmed the HTC ThunderBolt will see Android 4.0 ICS sometime in July. According to HTC all the devices should be updated to ICS by July.

ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 update rolling out

ASUS has just hit the start button on another update for their latest slate. The Transformer Pad TF300 quad-core tablet is getting a quick improvement or two starting today. Earlier this month ASUS updated the tablet and released the source code for those interested, and now are pushing another quickie out for the new budget-friendly tablet.

T-Mobile Galaxy S II update rolling out now

This morning T-Mobile has updated their support pages with another update to one of their most popular phones. After the Amaze 4G update was tipped this morning we are now seeing an update rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy S II for T-Mobile. Sadly we have some bad news though. The update is only an incremental update and is still Android 2.3 Gingerbread -- no Ice Cream Sandwich just yet.
