Samsung Galaxy S III Jelly Bean update coming as soon as August

Samsung's brand new Galaxy S III smartphone is a smashing success. The company has already stated over 10 million have been sold, and that is only the beginning. Today we are getting reports that Samsung is already in the final testing stages of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for both the Galaxy S III, and the older Galaxy S II.

Nexus S Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update arriving tomorrow

We have some potential great news for all those still rocking the Google Nexus S. At Google IO last month Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was listed as coming to the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S in mid July. Now that the Galaxy Nexus already started receiving it last week, it's time for the Nexus S to enjoy that butter smooth Jelly Bean too.

Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G update rolling out – ICS coming soon

Samsung's decent mid range Galaxy S Blaze 4G over on T-Mobile started getting a quick over the air software update last night. Samsung's confirmed it will be receiving Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but that isn't what were getting today. The update is still Gingerbread but along with fixes it will also prepare the phone for the upcoming ICS update.

Motorola XOOM WiFi update incoming, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean expected

In the usual Motorola fashion, we started seeing emails this weekend going out to members of their "feedback network" to test some new software for the tablet. What this means is the next update, presumably Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, is ready to roll out to the masses and Moto would like to give it a test run or "soak test" first. Here's what we know:

Now that Google's new ASUS Nexus 7 tablet is slowly making its way to the hands of consumers, it has been getting a few software updates. Last week Google updated it to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, and today it has another quick (but very small) software OTA rolling out as of last night. The changes seem minimal but this is surely a good sign.

Google themselves have just announced that Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean is rolling out for the international (HPSA+) Samsung Galaxy Nexus starting today. Right now the update is rolling out as we speak and as long as you don't have the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, you can enjoy the latest and greatest from Google.

Nexus 7 updated to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean

Google's brand new Nexus 7 tablet just received its first over the air software update. The update is arriving now for those who luckily already have the tablet and brings along Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. The update is rather small but brings the Nexus 7 to the same version of Android Google pushed to AOSP last night.

Verizon confirms DROID RAZR Android 4.0 ICS update coming today

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the very popular DROID RAZR and brother the RAZR MAXX is here. This is finally official too. Verizon this morning has confirmed the update both online, and in press emails going out. For those who have waited through the leaks, rumors, and missed dates I'm happy to report it's finally rolling out as of this morning.

We have more good news today for all those owners of the DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX. After the entire mix up last week about its rumored Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update today we can now confirm the ICS upgrade is rolling out to testers in Motorola's Feedback Network. If all goes well we could see this update available for everyone within the next week.
