HTC confirms no ICS for HTC ThunderBolt this month

We have some bad but somewhat expected news for all you Bolt owners this afternoon. After HTC announced multiple times that they would indeed be updating multiple devices to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich during the month of August, Thunderbolt included, sadly that didn't quite happen. The update won't be arriving yet and HTC's issued a statement.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 WiFi getting Android 4.0 ICS

Another Samsung Galaxy Tab is in for a tasty frozen treat today. For those that own the happy-medium sized Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 WiFi tablet you will be happy to know that Samsung has just started pushing Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out to the slate this afternoon. This comes just after the 7.7 and 10.1-inch models received the same fate.

The update started arriving for those across the US but today another region is being graced with the highly anticipated update. ASUS is now rolling it out across the UK.

It's raining Jelly Beans. There's been a lot of talk lately about Samsung and their fast update schedule of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for their popular Galaxy S III phone. We are still expecting it to possibly arrive later this month, but today we have an official Samsung Jelly Bean build for the Galaxy S III that has just leaked.

ASUS Transformer Pad 300 getting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean today

Great news for all the Transformer owners this weekend. ASUS has officially started the update rollout of Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean for the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300. We are still waiting for it to arrive for our tablet here, but we've received multiple reports confirming the update is in fact live. Get ready for that Jelly Bean.

Samsung DROID Charge updating rolling out soon

Early last week Verizon started pushing an update out to their popular Samsung DROID Charge but quickly stopped and pulled the update. International HTC One X getting Android 4.0.4 update, with fixes

Just like the AT&T HTC One X received earlier this week, the international model is getting an over the air update today that should make many users happy. Along with improving the OS to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, you also get a much needed change to the menu and multitasking button. This will help remove the large black bar present for the "menu" button on Sense UI.

HTC Rezound Android 4.0 ICS update rolling out now

We have some tasty frozen treat news for the folks rocking EVO's this afternoon. It looks like HTC has finally made their way through the device chain, and is now upgrading multiple EVO's to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. You won't get Sense UI 4.0 like the HTC One line of phones, but the upgrade should still be rather exciting.

Motorola XOOM WiFi Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update rolling out

It appears that Google's finally reading to start pushing their latest and greatest, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to the Motorola XOOM. After announcing the update at Google IO for a few of their devices, the Motorola XOOM is the last Google experience device to see the update -- not counting the Verizon Galaxy Nexus.
