Samsung is pushing a bug fix update out to their Galaxy S III in the UK. Back in December a potentially huge issue was discovered in many of Samsung's smartphones and popular devices like the Galaxy S III, Note II, and many others. The issue was found inside the Exynos 4 processor kernel basically giving developers, hackers, and potentially malware jerks full access to the device with ease.
Toshiba are on a roll this holiday season. Earlier this morning we reported their popular Excite 7.7 tablet was getting updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and right on its trail is the larger 10-inch flavor getting the same treat. According to reports this has actually been rolling out all week, just at a slow pace.
Samsung Galaxy S III we have some excellent Jelly news this afternoon. After initial updates started rolling out earlier this week, and in select regions late November today we can confirm Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and their "premium suite" is hitting the GSIII in the UK, Germany, and many other regions.

Verizon has just confirmed the OTA update to 4.1 Jelly Bean, and it'll likely start soon.
ASUS are updating a few of their Transformer Pad tablets with a little software update. Earlier we mentioned the ASUS Padfone 2 received Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but for those already running Jelly Bean on their Transformer this update is rather minor. So far both the Transformer Pad TF300 and 700 Infinity have seen updates as of this afternoon.
