HTC One S and Rezound updates rolling out today

While we've had tons of news today regarding HTC's newest smartphone, simply named the One, now we're getting additional details regarding a few of their already available and popular smartphones. Both the HTC One S from T-Mobile, and Verizon's HTC Rezound have updates rolling out today. Sadly neither are Jelly Bean, but we have the details below.

Earlier this week we reported that the folks from HTC have finally finished up the first update for their popular DROID smartphone. Today the folks from Verizon have confirmed that their popular HTC DROID DNA will be getting its first software update since launching last year. The 5-inch 1080p smartphone will be getting a slew of bug fixes that should surely enhance this already epic smartphone. They aren't delivering the latest version of Android, but there's a number of important bug fixes so read on for the full report.

HTC Thunderbolt Android 4.0 ICS update rolling out now

Never say never folks! Just as we announced late last week, the good guys over at HTC have apparently been working on an update for the aging HTC Thunderbolt. It's long overdue, but we can now confirm Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is indeed rolling out as we speak to the first 4G LTE device from Verizon. It's a miracle, and we're glad to see it.

Today it looks like HTC is pushing the updates quite hard. After hearing the venerable HTC Thunderbolt will finally get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it looks like the newer, thinner HTC EVO 4G LTE from the Now Network is getting a little update itself. While it has already received Jelly Bean it's still getting a bug fixer update today.

If you're the proud owner of the HTC Thunderbolt we have some amazing news today that you probably thought was never coming. You'll never believe this, but HTC and Verizon have just confirmed and approved the update to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich for the LTE-packing device. After initially hoping for an August release date, multiple delays, and lost hope of many the update is finally being delivered.

T-Mobile Galaxy S II getting update – not quite Jelly Bean

The flavor of the popular Samsung Galaxy S II that graces the T-Mobile network is receiving a quick software update today. Details have confirmed T-Mobile is pushing an update out over-the-air as we speak for the handset, although it's still running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. All you Note II owners should be on the lookout to accept an update that should fix a few problems, most notably that Exynos exploit we mentioned late last year.

Motorola PHOTON Q getting OTA update – still no Jelly Bean

Motorola has been on a hot streak lately with software updates for many of their impressive Android smartphones. One that is getting updated today - although not the update we want - is the QWERTY keyboard packing PHOTON Q slider. As the title implies, this isn't Jelly Bean but you'll want to accept the update anyways as usual.
