Black HTC Desire comes to Orange UK, sells out
This has been a trend for HTC as of late. They have sold out of everything from Vodafone’s Nexus One, the HD2 and a few times with the desire. What’s going on with HTC, maybe they didn’t think their phones would be this popular? Orange has recently made the black HTC desire and it sold out almost as soon as it was available.

Black HTC Desire due by end of next week say Orange
Holding out for the black version of the HTC Desire?  Initially promised for the end of April by Orange UK, a combination of volcanic ash and firmware issues have seen the Android 2.1 smartphone delayed.  Now, Android Community tipster Chris has let us know that the black Desire is expected to arrive early next week. That's come straight from Orange UK customer services, who told Chris that the limited edition Desire was expected to arrive in their warehouses sometime in the first week of May.  Actual shipments out to customers should take place from "middle to late next week". Orange's product page is here - it still says simply "coming soon - and the specifications for the handset are the same as the regular model we reviewed back in March.  The phone will be priced from free on new contracts. [Thanks Chris!]

Orange launches its all-white Sony Ericsson X10
It does exist!! The all white version of the X10 has been listed on Orange’s order page. This is my personal favorite off all the X10’s including the Mini’s. If this would’ve come out sooner, I would’ve been the first in line to get it.

This is a very interesting move by Ericsson. They just announced a partnership with Opera to bring the eStore, this is a new way to buy apps other than the traditional Android Market or that other phones AppStore. This store will aim to take the way we buy apps to a different plateau.
