OPPO N1 CyanogenMod edition gains Google certification

There had been talk of the OPPO N1 CyanogenMod edition shipping internationally from late-December. And well, it looks like a specific release date has been announced. Coming by way the official @OPPO Twitter account, we now know the handset will be available for purchase beginning on December 24th. Along with the release news, there was also a sneak peak given at the packaging and a bit about the Google certification.

OPPO R1 hands-on images surface in China

Much of the OPPO chatter has been around the Find 7 lately. And while those details are beginning to surface, there is another handset, the OPPO R1. The R1 was unveiled earlier in the month and is expected to arrive for purchase in late-December. We have yet to see specific release details based on market, however some hands-on images have recently been discovered.

OPPO Find 7 officially teased

OPPO did confirm the Find 7 way back in June. There wasn't much said at the time other than about how OPPO was "currently developing the next phone in the Find series, the Find 7.” While there has been some Find 7 rumors and leaks since June, the official chatter went quiet. And despite not getting a bunch of specifics today, it does look like OPPO is getting ready to begin offering some more detail.

OPPO N1 arrives for those in Europe and the US

As we had been expecting, OPPO has released the N1 smartphone for those in the US and Europe. The handset is available in white and there is an option for either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage space. The OPPO N1 is priced at $599 (16GB) or $649 (32GB) and sporting the key features touted by OPPO including the rotating 13 megapixel camera, O-Touch Panel and O-Click Control fob.

OPPO R1 unveiled ahead of late-December launch

While much of the OPPO talk has included the N1 and CyanogenMod lately, it appears as if the company has just introduced another smartphone. This latest is the OPPO R1, which similar to the N1, brings a focus on photography. In this case, OPPO is touting the R1 as being able to capture quality images in low-light settings.
