OPPO Find 7

OPPO rumored to be working on bezel-less device, leaked images

For the record, bezels are not such bad things, you know. They facilitate ergonomics of a device, making sure there are no “ghost touches” on your touchscreen display. Also, they act as support for your display, so that there is some material that protects the screen if you happen to drop your phone (which you will). That said, the larger the bezel, the uglier your device seems to become – that is why there is this seeming obsession with slimmer bezels. But OPPO seems to be of the opinion that it can do away with the bezel entirely.

OPPO brings out ColorOS 2.0.7i update, still KitKat flavors

If there’s any consolation for not having Lollipop on a flagship level phone these days, Chinese manufacturer OPPO seems to be saying that at the very least, they’ll give you lots of new features. Is that a consolation at all? At this point, users of the OPPO Find 7 will not have any choice but to accept the ColorOS 2.0.7i update – with lots of fixes, new features, but still distinctly and a bit disappointingly, Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

OPPO releases KitKat-based ColorOS V2.0.0i for Find 7 and 7a

Users of OPPO’s Find 7 and 7a smartphones rejoice, you’ll finally be getting some Android KitKat goodness (while others move on to getting some Lollipop, haha) at long last. OPPO has just released V2.0.0i of its own take on Android called ColorOS, and this update will be available for the OPPO Find 7 and 7a.

OPPO launches rapid charging powerbank, car-charger

There are some in the smartphone and electronics device industry that are of the opinion that it is not the processor that is the defining spec of the gadget – but rather the battery. And with a lot of manufacturers failing to balance out great specs with higher capacity batteries – the latest being the Samsung Galaxy Alpha – accessories like OPPO’s rapid charging VOOC powerbank and car charger become obvious necessities.
