Google Edition phones seem to be a popular topic lately. We saw Google announced the Samsung GALAXY S 4 Google Edition during I/O. That of course was followed by an announcement of the Google Edition HTC One. These devices feature the same hardware specs, but they will be running a vanilla Android installation and therefor be eligible for quicker updates. More recently though, it looks like the folks at OPPO have begun teasing a Google Edition handset of their own.

Oppo released a pretty impressive smartphone back in December in the Find 5, but we've been patiently waiting for it to arrive for other regions. Starting today the Oppo Find 5 has made its way to European shelves, and it is also available from their online store for those interested in the device.
OPPO announced the Find 5 smartphone back in December and at that time there was a launch promised for early 2013. And well, it looks like the time has arrived. OPPO has announced they will be opening the official European web store on Monday May 27th. The Find 5 will be available and it will be selling unlocked and contract free for €399, which would be roughly $515 in terms of US dollars.
OPPO recently released this 5-inch powerhouse smartphone with top-tier specs in China, and we decided to give it a look. Complete with a 5-inch 1920 x 1080p full HD display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The OPPO Find 5 has a bright future, so lets take a peek below.
Oppo Find 5 was announced back in mid December. The original announcement highlighted a 16GB model and an expected availability of sometime in early 2013. Otherwise, while the release details were kept to a minimum -- we did know that the Oppo Find 5 was heading towards China as well as the US and Europe.
Find 3 from smartphone maker OPPO, however as of today they have announced their latest -- the Find 5. And as the name would imply, the Find 5 is sporting a 5-inch display. Perhaps more to the point here, the OPPO Find 5 has a 5-inch 1080p display with a pixel density of 441 PPI. As for something to compare, think the recently released HTC Droid DNA.
