Toshiba Thrive Review
Welcome to the Toshiba Thrive (aka the Toshiba THRiVE if you believe the box's interpretation of it.) This is a tablet we've been talking about since early 2010, a tablet of some legend - one that was said to possibly be the hero device for Honeycomb, then the hero device for Google to be giving away at their Google I/O conference this spring! But alas, none of that came true, and here we are with the thickest and possibly the heaviest tablet in the whole Android bunch. Will fun features such as a replaceable back panel and ports galore save this device from "it's not thin enough" fever?

Samsung Galaxy S II Hits the FCC with Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU
Samsung has a lot of devices and it is easy to get lost in the piles of smartphones, and all the similar variations on other carriers. Today we are focusing on the Galaxy S II GT-I9103 that just cleared the FCC. The kicker here is this version is running on NVIDIA's Tegra 2 CPU instead of a Samsung Exynos chip like the current Galaxy S II.

First Overclock Kernel in the Works for Galaxy Tab 10.1
If you hadn't noticed, most of the hardware in Honeycomb tablets looks a little similar. Since they're all running on NVIDIA's Tegra 2 chipset, and we've already seen the Transformer and Xoom overclocked. We knew it was only a matter of time, and now XDA member, pershoot, has a preview of a kernel which allows overclocking of the Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1

Galaxy on Fire 2 THD Now Available for Tegra 2 Devices
The folks over at Fishlabs have been hard at work with this release guys, all you Galaxy on Fire players can now happily play this on your Tegra 2 tablet or smartphone. Get ready to fly through over 20 solar systems with some of the best graphics to come to a mobile device. Fishlabs and Nvidia promise that the graphics with a Tegra 2 powered device take this game far higher than on any other device including the iDevices. That is only half the battle though, not only is this game extremely pretty and graphically amazing but it has a solid story line that will take anywhere from 6-10 hours to complete.

Polish Mall Booth Revives 1.2 GHz Galaxy Tab 10.1 Rumor
Someone out there was obviously pretty convinced that Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 was supposed to have a 1.2 GHz processor. Last week we reported that Vodafone was listing the new tablet with a beefed up processor without a name, rather than the 1 GHz Tegra 2 that Samsung's website, and common knowledge would tell you it had. That turned out to be false, but the rumor has sprung back to life with a sighting of this sign on a Samsung booth in a mall in Poland.
