Big news from the team in green today. NVIDIA is proud to announce their very first entry into the smartphone game. Now what does that mean? The ZTE Mimosa X smartphone will be the first device with both the NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and the NVIDIA Icera HSPA+ mobile chipset modem. The first smartphone fully powered by the NVIDIA chipset.

Android's openness has been questioned as of late, but there's no denying that the open-source operating system has a wide range of applications for those willing to explore them. Case in point: Tely Labs' new video chat device, christened the TelyHD. The camera and Tegra 2 system-on-a-chip combination allows just about anyone to use Skype's video calling feature without the need for any extra hardware. The company has partnered with Skype to ensure a smooth and self-contained experience.

Grand Theft Auto III Anniversary Edition crashes into Android December 15th

Great news for all you gamers out there -- Grand Theft Auto III 10 Year Anniversary Edition will be available on Android starting December 15th. I'm extremely excited about that and will be playing this on my Transformer Prime that is for sure. We first reported that GTAIII was coming to Android back in October and today can happily report it will be available next week. Who's excited?

SHADOWGUN Multiplayer in the works and coming soon

Whoa this came out of no where although is nothing new. SHADOWGUN, a game I recently reviewed and loved, is apparently set to receive some multiplayer action from the awesome developer MadFinger Games. Being able to play this graphic intensive and awesome game on my NVIDIA Tegra 2 tablet as a multiplayer game would truly be awesome and I can't wait to see what they have in store.

ShadowGun by the popular developers MadFinger Games have just announced the game will officially be available for Android next week on October 26th. ShadowGun for now, will be a NVIDIA Tegra 2 device exclusive on Android and available in the Tegra Zone, with a regular version coming soon. I've played this awesome 3rd person shooter on my tablet and can say with confidence this is one amazing game for a mobile device.
