HTC ONE X Review

2011 was not HTC's year. Despite what appeared to be a strong start at Mobile World Congress in February 2011, by the tail-end of the year HTC had seen its device sales slump and rivals like Samsung steal its innovation crown, no small shock for the company which had long been known as the Android backbone. 2012, then, sees HTC become the challenger again, and the HTC One X is the powerhouse of that attack. Packing a quadcore Tegra 3 chipset in European form, it's a big, fast answer to those who said HTC had let specifications slip. Question is, does the One X do enough to leave HTC in a solid position ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S III and the iPhone 5?

Samsung Captivate Glide review

It seems that lately Samsung has been trying to cover all levels of the smartphone market, and with most carriers too. With the Samsung Captivate Glide they've done just that over on AT&T. Along with the Doubletime and a few other phones they have the entire range covered. Today we'll be showing you the mid to higher end of that spectrum with the Captivate Glide and its slide-out QWERTY keyboard and dual-core processor. It might not be the biggest or the best but it will put up a good fight, that is for sure.

This is the Motorola ELECTRIFY and it's being carried here in the USA by none other than U.S. Cellular. This is the first time we've gotten to see such an amazingly powerful device on this carrier, the ELECTRIFY running with the big dogs here with a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor as well as what Motorola calls Webtop functionality for a fully immersive multi-purpose Android experience, complete with Motorola's newest user interface to guide you.

Motorola Photon 4G Review

The Motorola / NVIDIA tag team continues to bust down doors and open up the options for strange new journeys on Android devices - desktop mode, docks galore, and the kickstand that turns your diamond-shaped Photon 4G into the world's most excellent desk clock. We've got the actual handset here, plus the HD dock, plus the car dock, all of them the standard editions you'll be purchasing in the store very soon from Motorola. If there were a predecessor to this device, it's the first dual-core device from Motorola, that being the ATRIX 4G that came out earlier this year with very similar dock accessories and very similar functionality. While it may seem like one's first inclination to compare this device to the ATRIX, we're already on a whole new landscape with more dual-cores on the market than we know what to do with. The ATRIX still sells off the shelf, especially with it's new cheaper price [$99 at AT&T today] and upgrade to Gingerbread - will the Photon add up?

Motorola Droid X2 Review

We have had a few days with a couple new Android devices lately, they were both sporting 4.3" qHD Displays and boy do they look good. Today we have a few more details and pictures as well as our review of the Motorola Droid X2. We have had our paws on it all weekend and I must say I am impressed so far, from the nice and simple touches to the UI Overlay, all the way down to the hardware (even though its identical to the first Droid X). We have put Verizon's first dual-core beast through a test run and it is time to share our thoughts.

Motorola ATRIX 4G Review

Welcome to the hat trick. This is the phone that won Best Device CES 2011 and is the only one in the world to have three docks out of the gate, one that's two, for a television and to allow it to connect to the keyboard and a mouse and remote, and another that's a full fledged laptop. This is a big stepping stone in making smartphones the screens we carry around with us everywhere that also act as our computers we're going to be able to use for everyday work. Inside there's a fat NVIDIA dual-core Tegra 2 processor running it's lovely 4-inch qHD display. Reviewing this phone has been difficult due to the versatility, but we bit the bullet and managed to bring you a solid flat look. NOTE: Don't worry about the headless Andy, he's fine, just being modded.
