wordPress has been updated to version 1.2 today. This app was already a very well refined app, it has just gotten a whole lot better. The latest update brings geotagging and video uploading capabilities. Now you can better manage your blog right from your Android device anywhere you are.

Mobile Search for Android Gets Updated

Google’s mobile search page for Android just got a little closer to the desktop client. There is now a button to the left of the search results that allows quickly refine search results based on time frame or product type. The computer based search page has also been revamped.

Since the release of Android, Google had made numerous updates to their core Android Apps (with the exception to the music player). All of the changes have made the Android experience more visually appealing. These changes usually slide by “stealthy” without the user being notified of the change.

Gesture Search Now Available For 1.6

Google announced today that it has added support for all Android devices running 1.6 or higher. Initially, this was only available to phones that has 2.0 and up leaving only two Android’s capable of using this new feature.

Verizon explains Skype Mobile Visually

Coming off their recent deal with Skype, Verizon has now put together a short video discussing all the great things you can do with Skype Mobile. Starting this month the Droid, Droid Eris, and Devour handsets will come loaded with the "new" feature that allows for calls anywhere in the world without using minutes. Skype Mobile will surely be added to every upcoming Android device from Verizon.
