Verizon’s 4G LTE Network Initial Impressions

One of the biggest players in the upcoming 4G wars is Verizon. Although their entrance into the 4G market is a bit late, behind T-Mobile and Sprint, it's certainly not disappointing. We have got our hands on the LG VL600 LTE Modem and have put the LTE network through some speed tests as well did an unboxing of the device.

Sprint has always come to mind when mentioning 4G, with it's "ultra fast" speeds it has been the choice for users who were looking for an option for quite some time. Now with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile all entering the market Sprint has upped it's game and turned on it's 4G network in 6 of is cities.

T-Mobile ‘4G’ Coming Soon, Fastest in the US

It looks as if T-Mobile is gearing up to launch their '4G' network in many cities across the US. After much debate as whether they should refer to it as "4G" "4G Speed" or anything else, it looks like they have gone with simply calling it their 4G network. According to TmoNews, T-Mobile is ready to begin advertising the network as "America's Largest 4G Network" and has it's promotion material all ready.

Verizon 4G Information Sheet Leaks, LTE Blows Sprints 4G speeds away

We all know that Verizon currently has plans to release it's new LTE 4G network to 38 cities by the end of the year. A fact sheet just recently released to the web compares Verizon's LTE upcoming network with Sprint's "Ultra-Fast" WiMax network. Verizon's network is truly going to be ultra fast, so far as blowing Sprint's network out of the water when comparing speed.

AT&T 4G LTE network expected to launch by Mid-2011

4G networks are the new craze among mobile device enthusiasts. Offering lightning fast speeds, they are clearly the next frontier in the mobile market. While other carriers have their own 4G networks, AT&T is going to be joining them in 2011 with an expected potential of reaching 70-75 million people by the end of 2011.
