Verizon rolling out Voice over LTE in 2013

New reports have recently appeared regarding Verizon and their VoLTE services. What this offers is voice over their 4G LTE networks, something that currently isn't available. Verizon's ever expanding 4G LTE network is for data only and all voice calls are placed on their extremely wide 3G cellular networks.

Verizon had three mass network outages this December, and here’s why

It's no surprise Verizon has the fastest and most developed 4G LTE network in the US, but consistently terming them most reliable would be an overstatement for the month of December. And frankly, three mass network outages can cause some serious communication issues for both work and leisure. Heck, many families are now doing away with a central home phone, and just subscribing the entire family to a plan of cellphones.

AT&T and T-Mobile call it quits — won’t be merging after all

AT&T has just issued a statement today outlining what many probably already saw coming. And that is that they have decided to call it quits and end the bid for a T-Mobile buyout. More details and the official statement are below.

Verizon 4G LTE hits 11 new cities today, available to over 200 million people

Who wants some 4G LTE to go along with the Galaxy Nexus? In the same fashion as they've done all year Verizon has flipped the switch and gave the green light to 11 new cities to access their 4G LTE spectrum starting today. Verizon's 4G LTE recently celebrated its 1 year birthday and in that short amount of time they've reached almost 200 markets and offer 4G LTE to over 200 million Americans nationwide.

Verizon 4G LTE keeps rolling, more markets announced for December 15th

It's no surprise that Verizon is pushing full steam ahead with their 4G LTE network, they've been updating with 10-15 new markets and locations almost every few weeks for months on end. Late last month they flipped the big red switch on 22 new markets and another list will be activated on November 17th, today they've just announced another round of upgrades coming in mid December.

Verizon 4G LTE rollout ahead of schedule, already reaching 185 million customers

When Verizon announced their new 4G LTE network they had a few goals set in terms of the rollout, and how many customers would be able to take advantage of the new network. Today Verizon has announced that the original goal of 185 million customers has already been reached and that they are ahead of schedule, not to mention that they've also already reached their goal for the amount of markets that actually have 4G LTE.
