HTC T-Mobile G1 Receives myTouch 3G Android 2.2 ROM
The HTC T-Mobile G1 is still a fan favorite. It's the first Android device, and still one of the most beloved devices out there. Unfortunately, though, it doesn't pack the power enough to get the job done when it comes to most software updates. At least, that's the official word from Google and HTC. But, that's not stopping the developers out there from putting the latest and greatest on the hardware.

Well, the promotion is indirectly Android related. The latest rumor has T-Mobile conducting a one day promotion where every phone in their inventory will be free.

EVO 4G Is The Best Selling Phone in Sprint’s History
This is no surprise, the EVO had the biggest opening day of any phone that has ever been offered by Sprint. There has been reports of this handset selling out everywhere from Sprint store’s, Radio Shack’s and even a few Best Buy locations. The EVO out sold both of the previous record holders, the Palm Pre and the Samsung Instinct.

HTC myTouch 3G Slide for T-Mobile Review
When T-Mobile announced the myTouch 3G, it was almost immediately welcomed warmly into the Android family. With the exception of, perhaps, the name, the myTouch 3G saw a wide adoption, as people jumped on board the Android train. And now that it's been out for some time, and it's seen a couple of "refreshes," T-Mobile and HTC have seen fit to add a new model to the family. So here we are with the myTouch 3G Slide, which adds a bigger screen, a bit more bulk, and a physical keyboard. But, with all those additions, does the Slide hit the nail right on the head, or is it not enough to be a warm new welcome to the family name? Find out below.

T-Mobile Garminfone Coming June 2nd?
The only thing left now is confirmation from T-Mobile but this phone is pretty much a lock for a June 2nd release. If you’ve heard that date before it’s because the myTouch 3G Slide will be releasing on the same day. Engadget received this leaked screenshot of the Android powered Garmiphone. This screen not only outs the pricing for this handset but also the release date.

myTouch 3G Slide Pricing
We’ve heard so much about this phone lately except for the most important aspect, the pricing. That mystery has been solved with the latest leak to our friends over at Tmonews. It’s a pretty good deal if you ask me. It will be cheaper than the “Superphones” of today and given the fact that it only has a 600MHZ processor, this is a good move from T-Mobile.
