Nokia XL hands-on from MWC 2014

As the rumors were suggesting, Nokia announced an Android handset here at Mobile World Congress. Based on those rumors we were expecting to see the Nokia X, but it seems they had a bit of a surprise for everyone. Nokia also unveiled the Nokia XL, which as the name would suggest, is the bigger version of the Nokia X.

Omate TrueSmart smartwatch hands-on and first impressions

We've been watching the Omate TrueSmart rather closely since the Kickstarter launch, and while we managed to see the watch back in January during CES, we got to spend quite a bit more time with it here at Mobile World Congress. In fact, we not only spent some time checking it out, but we walked away with a unit for further review.

Nokia announces DVLUP Developer program for porting Android apps

With the Nokia X, many thought it to be a huge error not to include Google Play Services with the Android device. A lack of Play Store apps and media could be a big problem, as it leaves much to be desired. Nokia has a different play, with a new development platform that promises Developers can simply bring their current Android apps straight over -- without code changes.
