LG G Pro 2 slated for launch at MWC 2014

LG is said to be working on a follow-up of sorts to their G2. Not quite the G3 successor, this one will be the G Pro 2, a beefed up version of the current flagship G2. We’re also said to get a peek at it this year at MWC, meaning the G3 will probably have to wait.

Recently, Samsung confirmed their focus on the mid-range market. Perhaps due to the S4 not selling as they’d hoped (even though it crushed the competition), or a new mindset about their lineup, Samsung is refocussing their efforts. A new device has passed WiFi certificaton, and it looks to be another mid-range smartphone from Samsung.

Panasonic could be bringing a smartphone to MWC 2014

Just when you thought Panasonic was out of the smartphone game, something may have pulled them back in. A new report suggests the Japanese OEM will introduce a new smartphone at MWC this February in Barcelona. Though a pretty interesting device, it’s probably not going to be one you’d have the chance to consider for your next purchase.

Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 and Galaxy Band tipped for a MWC unveil

It seems many are still waiting to see what happens with the currently available Galaxy Gear smartwatch in terms of future updates, however rumors are suggesting Samsung may soon unveil the follow up model. According to reports coming from The Korean Herald, Samsung may be readying the Galaxy Gear 2 as well as another wearable for Mobile World Congress, which will take place in late February 2014.
