The update is coming as Jelly Bean, specifically, Android 4.1.2 and will be coming over-the-air. Users should be on the lookout for an update notification to arrive. But remember, this update is rolling out in batches so there may be a short wait involved.

The new and powerful Motorola Electrify from US Cellular has been running strong with Android 2.3 Gingerbread but just like all phones a few updates and bug fixes are needed. Well folks, it looks like U.S. Cellular users can look forward to an excellent phone coming as soon as this month. Better known as the Motorola Photon 4G the name will instead be the Electrify and goes right in line with previous statements from US Cellular regarding an upcoming 4.3" device from Motorola. It looks like they've had this dual-core powerhouse planned for a while.
