DROID3 and Motorola XOOM LTE Announced in Verizon MAP, Close to Launch!

It appears that our friends at DroidLife have just been handed another piece to the ongoing puzzle we've got going here with two devices of some note: the DROID3 (aka DROID 3 with a space as this release would have us believe,) and the Motorola XOOM LTE. The latter device is the subject of an extended accessories post we just added this morning to the Android Community feed, thought the name is certainly worth some discussion. There are two versions of the Motorola XOOM currently available for sale, that being the Verizon connected version which is, as they say, upgradable to 4G LTE, and the Wi-Fi only version which you can get at Target. Now they're speaking of an LTE version of the tablet, which should be all means be confusing to those already owning a XOOM from Verizon as they've been promised an upgrade to LTE in the near future.

Chinese Site Gets Hands All Over Droid 3

Following in what is becoming a time honored tradition of Moto's Droid phones leaking like crazy, the Droid 3 found its way into the hands of XDA.cn recently to leak just about everything that was left to be leaked about this still unofficial phone. The Chinese reviewers do not appear to have a very high opinion of the phone, due to some lackluster specs and their rather low opinion of Motoblur. We've dived through the 8-page review courtesy of Google Translate and mined out all the juicy stuff for you.

Droid 3 Featured in Leaked How-To Videos

While it still hasn't been officially announced, the Droid 3 for Verizon continues to leak like pot full of holes. The leak of the day is several very official looking Verizon "how-to" videos, discovered by the German blog PhonePads. While not revealing much, the videos give a very good look at the phone, and shows off many of the hardware features we've seen in leaked images.

New Details on Droid 3 Confirmed

With all the sequels coming out, one couldn't be blamed for confusing a list of phones coming out this summer with a list of summer blockbusters. This particular upgrade happens to be the Motorola Droid 3 for Verizon. More exciting an upgrade from the Droid 2, then the 2 was from the original Droid. The third iteration is shaping up to bring the original Droid line back into the forefront of Android superphones when it is released this June.

Motorola DROID3 benchmarks tip qHD plus dual-core TI CPU

Benchmarks for the yet-to-be-announced Motorola DROID3 have emerged, giving us hints as to the specifications of the upcoming Android smartphone. According to the stats at Nenamark, the DROID3 uses a PowerVR SGX 540 GPU powering a qHD resolution, 960 x 540 display. The phone is also running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, or at least was at time of testing. The PowerVR GPU closes off suggestions that Motorola would use the Tegra 2 chipset for the DROID3, instead indicating that it's Texas Instrument's dual-core 1GHz OMAP4430. Meanwhile we already known that the qHD display measures in at 4-inches, and that the DROID3 has a front-facing camera. No word on launch date, but if Motorola is benchmarking the phone then that might suggest it's imminent. [via Droidlife]

Motorola Droid 3 Leaks again, 4.0″ screen and front facing camera

Well this is some interesting news, and a odd way to find it also. Apparently we have some new information about the Motorola Droid 3 we told you about in March. This news comes from globaldirectparts.com and they sell OEM parts for mobile devices. They have screen replacements for all types of devices. Usually the device has been announced, or released before they have parts listed so that makes this a little odd.
