Motorola further details Jelly Bean plans, Atrix HD next on list

Ever since Motorola announced that it plans to update a lot of its more recent devices to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, many customers have been waiting for patiently for their upgrade to arrive. Some handsets, such as the DROID RAZR M, the DROID RAZR HD, and the DROID RAZR MAXX HD have already received or are in the process of receiving their updates, but there are plenty more handsets left to upgrade. Motorola has updated its list of devices getting Jelly Bean upgrades, covering most major regions of the world like the US, Canada, Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and Latin America.

Motorola Atrix HD Developer Edition on the way

Lately, we've been seeing Motorola offering Developer Editions of its various handsets. The DROID RAZR M, RAZR HD, and Photon Q came first, and now it's time for the Atrix HD's moment in the spotlight. The Atrix HD Developer Edition has popped up on Motorola's website, which means that it shouldn't be too much longer before it'll be available for purchase.

The first update for Motorola and AT&T's new Atrix HD is finally rolling out this morning. The folks from Motorola have just issued and detailed their first bug fixer update -- and it's a biggie. This update will bring the 4G LTE HD handset to software version 77.12.22 and along with it is a slew of improvement. More details after the cut.

Motorola recently launched their new Atrix HD smartphone on AT&T here in the US, but we aren't the only ones enjoying a new impressive phone from Moto. AT&T and Motorola's latest venture has arrived here on the Android Community doorstep. We are talking about the Motorola Atrix HD with AT&T 4G LTE. Unlike the preview two Atrix devices running on HSPA+ "faux 4G" the Atrix gets full speed LTE to keep things speedy. There's tons to talk about other than the LTE with the Atrix HD though. Motorola promises unlocked bootloaders coming soon

Motorola has recently announced a few new Android smartphones headed to market soon. One in particular is their new Motorola Atrix HD. Which will be a 4G LTE device for AT&T. Just like every other Motorola phone as of late, it will feature a signed and locked bootloader where users and developers can't control a thing. Motorola confirmed this on Twitter, as well as something else we've heard before.

We already saw plenty about this phone last week when Motorola accidentally posted it to their website, but this morning Motorola has officially announced their all new Atrix HD smartphone for AT&T. The new Motorola Atrix HD will be a 4G LTE device, run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and will be their first phone now that Google owns the company.
