Gameloft’s entire title line up for 2013 leaked

When it comes to mobile gaming, there are few companies as big as Gameloft. There have been plenty of console and PC publishers who have made their presence known in the mobile gaming space, but Gameloft is one of the few to rise to the top through releasing only mobile games. Therefore, you'll excuse us while we jump up and down at the news that Gameloft's line up for 2013 has been leaked.

GameKlip gets a redesign, universal phone mount

Mobile gaming has been the subject of much debate between those who consider themselves "true gamers," mostly because of touchscreen controls. A lot of gamers out there like playing with a keyboard and mouse or a controller and find touchscreen controls to be sub-par when held up to the other methods. Enter GameKlip, which looks to merge the best of both worlds by making your smartphone play nice with a PlayStation 3 SixAxis controller.

Square Enix announces Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade for US and Canada

Video games in general are pretty awesome, but one bad thing about being a gamer is watching as players in other regions get to enjoy a game that will probably never be released where you live. We thought that would be the case with Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade, a mobile game made by Square Enix that has so far been exclusive to Japan. Apparently that isn't the case, as Square Enix announced today that Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade will soon be launching in the US and Canada.

Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition hits Android tablets November 28

For us, one of the most exciting games of the year has to be Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition, which takes the much-loved computer RPG and adds some all new content to make it even better (we hope). The best part is that Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition won't just be releasing on PC, but Android too. Today Overhaul Games - the group developing the Enhanced Edition - announced a new release date for the Android tablet version of the game: November 28.

Disney turns sights toward Star Wars mobile and social games

By now, you've probably heard that Disney has purchased Lucasfilm, whether you learned that through news outlets or Facebook friends who are complaining that Disney will ruin the Star Wars franchise (it isn't going to, so stop worrying). While we're sure that Disney is going put the Star Wars IP to good use, the company isn't looking to make many more Star Wars console games. Instead, Disney CEO Robert Iger says the company will probably focus on Star Wars mobile and social titles moving forward.

Angry Birds Star Wars gameplay featured in latest trailer

We've seen a lot of trailers for Angry Birds Star Wars recently, but so far none of them have featured any actual gameplay. Instead of showing us what we'd really like to see, Rovio took famous clips from the movies and inserted its famous birds into them. Some of them were cute, others were silly, but now its time to cut out the funny business and get down to the nitty gritty: it's time for gameplay, baby!

Chrono Trigger finally arrives on Android

If you haven't played the JRPG classic Chrono Trigger yet, then we really don't know what to say. The game has been available on a number of platforms for some time now, and today that long list gained another entry. Chrono Trigger has officially arrived on Android, so it's time to bust out those devices and get to saving the world.

Dead Trigger getting a Halloween-themed update soon

Halloween is quickly approaching ladies and gentlemen, which means candy for kids in costumes and horror movie marathons for some. Depending on what kind of games you like, it could also mean some Halloween-themed zombie slaying in Madfinger's hit mobile game game Dead Trigger. The studio announced the incoming update yesterday, giving us a single image as a way of teasing the additions it brings to table.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted mobile trailer drops

Console and PC gamers are undoubtedly excited for the reboot of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, but should mobile gamers be? If this new trailer from Electronic Arts is any indication, the answer to that question is "yes." Of course, we're not expecting the mobile version of Most Wanted to be as fully featured as its big brother on consoles and PC, but the trailer still makes a pretty good case for picking it up.
