Facebook is still the most popular social network today. It’s been the top social website for young and old alike. Thanks to Mark Zuckerberg, it’s not going away anytime soon. It may be No. 1 but admit it or not, this website has more disadvantages rather then advantages. Of course, that’s just the cynic in me talking but as a parent, I don’t think I’d want my kid spending a lot of time in there because there are just too many things that can happen and be explored.

Digital advertising fraud for mobile increasing this 2015

As mobile usage continues to ramp up in various markets, more and more apps and products are clamoring for our attention. And because the market is getting crowded, a lot of companies and developers will continue to use various user acquisition methods. Sadly, various entities engaged in this industry will also result to fraudulent means to get clients. An ongoing study by Venture Beat shows that the number of advertising fraud has already almost doubled this year, and is expected to increase as the months go by.

Android now tops mobile advertising traffic and revenue for Q1 2015

The State of Mobile Advertising Report from Opera Mediaworks has been released, and it looks like Android is the platform to beat in terms of both traffic and revenue for the 1st quarter of this year. This is the first time that it has beaten archrival iOS in these categories, although in terms of the ratio of revenue to impressions, the latter still tops the charts. Social networking has also reached a milestone as they're now the top revenue earner for mobile advertising.

LG banner ads sense and mock competing smartphones

LG, along with M&C Saatchi have come up with a rather interesting advertising campaign. LG is using this to promote the G2 smartphone and has it running in Sweden. While that means a vast amount may never see these ads in person, they are adding a nice spin on the regular competition bash.
