Over at this year's Mobile World Congress, SanDisk introduced what it claims is the world's highest capacity micro memory card. This 128 GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC USH-I promises to meet the growing storage needs of mobile device users today.
The folks from SanDisk have been leading the charge on removable storage and USB storage for a long, long time. Their Mobile Ultra and Extreme SD cards have always been among the quickest on the market, but this morning they just launched a new era in Micro-SD cards. Currently the Mobile ULTRA micro-SDXC is the fastest they offer, but their new Extreme will nearly double the performance.
Recently we told about the new 64GB Micro SDXC cards just released by SanDisk designed specifically for mobile devices. While most smartphones and tablets only offer SDHC support we are now happy to inform you all that many Android devices are in fact able to take full advantage of the 64GB SDXC cards by SanDisk, even though they aren't listed as supported.
SanDisk has been busy stuffing as much storage as possible onto something as small as a fingernail and today they've announced the 64GB MicroSDXC (extended capacity) cards for mobile phones. I know many users myself included have been using plenty of cloud storage options lately but having a 64GB MicroSD would really be awesome and I can't wait to get one in my hands. It will be known as the SanDisk 64GB MicroSDXC "Mobile Ultra" card.
