This isn't the newest innovation on the marketplace, of course, but it's certainly something everyone should have a knowledge of! Samsung has another Android device in the works, the Galaxy 5 or the GT-I5500 will be hitting the streets soon. This little device packs in Android 2.1 along with a few other features. This device hasn’t really been covered much with all the excitement around the EVO and the Galaxy S so it may be something new for most of you out there.

The Spring Design Alex looks to take on the big names in the eReader world with their latest Android powered eBook. The guys over at Slashgear put together a nice in-depth review of this device. The Alex can be yours for a price tag of $399. This is a nice device but I’m not sure if this is worth the aforementioned price even with its specs and their partnership with Borders.

The Moment 2 Passes the FCC?
Usually when a handset passes the FCC it’s really close to being released. The Samsung M910 is expected to be the Moment 2 and it has just passed through the FCC. Looks like the original Moment will have a short lifespan just like the HTC Eris. Hopefully 2.1 still get pushed to both of these devices, Sprint has pretty much confirmed the update for both their current Android devices so it’s now a waiting game.

Finally, there are more details on the upcoming Aigo N700. If you haven’t heard, this is a 7-inch Android tablet that was formerly known as the AigoPad. It’s loaded with great features, some of the most notable is the second-generation Tegra chipset, Wi-Fi and 3G and up to 32GB of onboard storage.

Aigo has two new Android MIDs in the works
A Chinese manufacturer by the name of Aigo has two Android MID’s in the making. The new tablets will come in a 5 and 7 inch version. Both will be running Android 1.6, there is no word on when or if these devices will be upgraded to Android 2.1.  Price is rumored to be around 1500 Yuan which is roughly $220 and will be released in May.

This time around, they are one of the first to review of the equally anticipated Sony Xperia X10. We’ve known, and wanted, this phone since around last October. Since then there has been multiple powerful Android handsets announced for release this year. So is it too little to for Sony or will this be their knight in shining armor.
