For those of you that are curious how this device looks, we now have a clear picture. When we first heard of this device we thought it was just a rebranded Moment. They do share a lot in common but this is a totally different device.
Looks like everyone is catching Android fever, Metro PCS will soon have their first Android based phone. Yesterday there was a rumor that Metro PCS may have an Android phone in the making. What a difference a day makes? Earlier today, Androidguys managed to get some pictures of the device.
Don’t be alarmed, the title is similar to the last but it isn’t the same story (not exactly). This is another Android 1.6 device by Acer that has been recently announced at this year’s Computex. This version shares a few things in common with the E130 as you will see later.
We’ve heard so much about this phone lately except for the most important aspect, the pricing. That mystery has been solved with the latest leak to our friends over at Tmonews. It’s a pretty good deal if you ask me. It will be cheaper than the “Superphones” of today and given the fact that it only has a 600MHZ processor, this is a good move from T-Mobile.
This little square device has shown up again. This time it was leaked to an Italian site with the codename of RUTH. The actual name it will go by when it’s released there is the MB511. It is also scheduled for release in June.
Remember this square shaped ugly little fellow? Yes, it’s real and it’s coming soon. The original story behind the leaked photo of this device had us all calling Photoshop. Turns out this are an actual device so maybe the story was real. If so there may be one less employee in the Motorola camp.
Archos has officially announced the Archos 7 Android tablet today. This tablet has a 7 inch touch screen and is built to be a great multimedia/web browsing device. You can now preorder it from Amazon for $199. It comes preloaded with a custom version of Android 1.6.
The Spring Design Alex looks to take on the big names in the eReader world with their latest Android powered eBook. The guys over at Slashgear put together a nice in-depth review of this device. The Alex can be yours for a price tag of $399. This is a nice device but I’m not sure if this is worth the aforementioned price even with its specs and their partnership with Borders.
This offering from Dell is a bit toned down from the recent leaks but is still a great device. The Dell Aero will be released for AT&T sometime in the second quarter. It has a 624 MHZ processor and a few other tricks up its sleeve.
There have been rumors floating around that certain European carriers are working on their own Android handsets. Vodafone was rumored to be working on their own phone, looks like Orange has beaten them to the punch. The Boston will be released first and for the low price of 1 euro.
