Whoa, big news just dropped from Google today regarding the Android Market and Google's services as a whole. Starting today, we can all say hello Google Play, RIP Android Market because the Android Market, Google Music and the Google eBookstore will all become part of Google Play. The details were just revealed and Google Play is live right now.

Good news this morning folks. The team at Imangi Studios has finally announced an official release date of the hugely popular game Temple Run for Android. We've mentioned it more than a few times before, and with huge responses and anger when it wasn't released in February like promised. Sadly we'll have to wait a few more weeks but it'll be here soon enough.

The popular local and location based social networking application Sonar is finally available for Android today in a limited beta. Sonar pulls data from publicly available profiles from Foursquare, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook and brings it all into a single application. It sounds a little scary I know, but we are hearing great things about this new social experience.

Chrome for Android updated, no longer works on some custom ROMs [Update]
Oh yea! Chrome for Android Beta just received an update from Google over in the Android Market. At first glance we aren't seeing anything particularly new, not to mention they weren't nice enough to provide a change log for the update. Most likely the update just brought minor bug or performance fixes although we do have some bad news. The update is causing issues and Chrome for Android is no longer working on custom Android 4.0 ICS ROM's such as CyanogenMod 9.

The popular cloud storage option for Android Box.net has just been updated in the Android Market. Along with tons of awesome features, improvements and bug fixes they also have something else very exciting -- free storage! I've been a long time user of apps like Box or Dropbox but most don't offer this much storage. Box.net is now giving all new users 50 GB of storage completely free.

As we approach March the NFL season is long gone and wont be back for a while. Seems odd that Verizon would be updating the official NFL Mobile app now, but hold on because we have good news. The season ended with the Giants winning the Super Bowl (YES!) and while we didn't get many app updates this season one is now available bringing official NFL blog news and more.
